Hello and welcome to Pete’s Mountain Landscapes – a photo journey through the hills, attempting to capture the constantly changing moods of the mountains and wild places…
Always in search of a view, I’m photographer and sometime travel writer Pete Buckley and here you will find the world outdoors in writing and photography. The photo gallery previews my work and enables both the licensing of images for commercial use and the ownership of some beautiful framed prints, all at surprisingly low cost I might add!
My modest contribution to the world of travel literature can also be found at the bottom of the page here, as can the new Tales from the Hills blog though perhaps it should be entitled The Ramblings of a Rambler. Follow the link to read the latest post >>>

Click the link below to visit the gallery where you will find details of how to purchase my photography in digital or print format. Both commercial and personal use licences are available – or just have a look around. At the bottom of this page are my travel book titles with links to their pages on Amazon. Please note they are travel stories as opposed to guidebooks.
Thanks for visiting…

A hike through the Swiss Alps from Grindelwald in the Bernese Oberland to Zermatt in the Valais.

A campervan journey around New Zealand.undertaken in the Southern Winter of 2005.

As the title suggests, a series of different adventures in various mountain and wilderness areas of the world.

Here will appear the latest blog posts. If you are looking for the old Tales from the Hills you can find it here though the best of the older posts will doubtless reappear here at some stage.
